About Kelsey
Art has always been an important part of my life. It brings me joy and I love sharing that. When I was young I was always drawing or creating something! I took all the art classes I could in school & decided that I wanted to be an illustrator when I grew up.
I studied illustration at Brigham Young University. I graduated in the August of 2013 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration. I worked for a few design companies before my husband & I decided to start our little family. I wanted to be able to stay at home with my baby girl & still create art. So Kelsey Carlson Art was born a week before my oldest daughter was born in June of 2015. Kelsey Carlson Art has now fits in the cracks of nap time & preschool. But I love creating & am always working on my next best idea. :)
I love listening to audio books (send all of your recommendations my way!), playing with my family, working out & exploring new places. Life is hard but also good.
